About Jalal

Jalal has been publicly fundraising and campaigning for children and adults with special needs since 2006. For the past 10 years he has trekked, cycled and climbed his way through a variety of challenges to raise funds for charitable organisations across the UAE.

According to Jalal, you don’t have to be challenged to represent or highlight circumstances and the challenges that society faces. Instead, he is committed to supporting groups such as the Dubai Autism Centre and the Rashid Centre for the Disabled simply because he cares – and he wants the rest of the UAE to care too.

Jalal’s fundraising efforts have taken him on some incredible journeys – many completed while he was a university student. He was the first person on record to cross the seven emirates on foot in 2006 and to cycle across the Gulf in 2013; he climbed the stairs of 100 skyscrapers across Dubai; and he walked from Dubai to Mecca.
